This month sees British design studio, Wrap, launch their new B2B store on SparkLayer and Shopify.
Wrap is a British design studio that celebrates the best in contemporary creativity, combining both a retail operation that sells an extensive range of beautifully designed products and a highly popular editorial, Wrap Magazine.
Their mission is especially unique, with every single sale helping support the independent artists they collaborate with to produce their product range.
The challenge
With growing demand from retailers wanting to stock their products, Wrap were after a solution that would allow them to quickly get up and running, be easy to customise, and have the toolset they needed to fully manage the operation in-house. The store also had to be well-designed and allow them to present their product range in the best possible light.
The solution
Shopify was the obvious solution as the eCommerce platform to use, and SparkLayer was selected on account of its suitability at meeting their specific B2B needs. Requirements included:
- Allowing custom pricing that could be varied based on who the customer was
- Pack sizing rules on account of most of their products needing to be purchased in packs of 6
- Offline payment methods that allow customers to place orders as 'Drafts orders' within Shopify
- Customisable design with an easy-to-use customer experience
- Currency support for UK and US based customers
Wrap also started their implementation using the new Shopify Dawn Online Store 2.0 theme which SparkLayer had adapted to be optimised for B2B.

With their new Shopify and SparkLayer B2B store launched, Wrap now have a brand new sales channel that allows their wholesale customers to view their latest products, place orders, track their order status and much more!
