SparkLayer advances mission to simplify B2B eCommerce with the launch of their new B2B Commerce Framework, SparkLayer Ignite

Several years ago, we embarked on a journey.

We had a vision of transforming the way brands approached their B2B eCommerce operation. We saw the challenges many faced, the limitations of existing tools and platforms, and we believed there had to be a better way. A way to make online B2B interactions smoother, more intuitive, and more powerful.

Last year, we successfully launched our integration with Shopify, and we’ve now helped over 1,000 brands to grow their B2B eCommerce operation. Most recently, we also partnered with BigCommerce to bring the same SparkLayer offering to their customer-base and partner ecosystem.

Today, we take another major leap with the launch of our own B2B Commerce framework, SparkLayer Ignite.

Setting the scene

We recognised that many brands often had more advanced (and custom) B2B eCommerce requirements. Perhaps they were using systems and tools that needed a far more considered approach; or perhaps they’ve invested heavily into a bespoke eCommerce platform and were approaching their next B2B eCommerce solution wanting to use a more advanced “composable” approach. At the same time, we knew firsthand how technology partners often struggled to deliver a B2B solution for their customers where flexibility was key.

Enter SparkLayer Ignite

SparkLayer Ignite is our B2B Commerce framework designed for brands and technology partners that have an established eCommerce stack in place but are struggling to implement a B2B solution. SparkLayer Ignite distils the core elements of our B2B platform and allows systems integrators to implement SparkLayer in the way they want with the technology they want. In its most simplest form, SparkLayer Ignite brings two core elements.

And the best part? There’s no need to design and build this technology from scratch. SparkLayer Ignite can seamlessly integrate with the tools, systems, and platforms brands and partners already use. All without needing to build an entire B2B eCommerce solution or implement costly and time-consuming workarounds.

As for ongoing maintenance and feature updates? That’s all covered by SparkLayer Ignite, with an easy upgrade path as well as backwards compatibility.

Does this change our core focus at SparkLayer? Not at all. We’re on a mission to bring a simpler way to implement B2B eCommerce for brands and SparkLayer Ignite represents a major leap in our vision to do this. We continue to be fully committed to our customer-base and can’t wait to see how SparkLayer helps them grow their B2B businesses!
