When we set out to create SparkLayer, one of our goals was to make it as accessible as possible for Shopify merchants already using back office systems to manage their B2B operation. Today we're excited to announce the latest of our system integrations with globally leading retail operations system, DEAR Systems.
DEAR Systems has long held the reputation as being the system of choice for established and fast-growing brands, providing a centralised location to manage inventory, orders, warehousing, fulfilment, accounting, and more. With an integration already with Shopify, merchants can connect their storefront with DEAR Systems and automate their entire eCommerce operation.
The SparkLayer integration for DEAR Systems takes this a step further, allowing any Shopify merchant with a B2B presence to offer seamless B2B ordering for their customers.
How it works
The SparkLayer to DEAR Systems integration makes setup as straightforward as possible. It works by connecting to the merchant's DEAR Systems account to access B2B data such as product pricing and price lists as well as synchronising B2B customer data.
Once the merchant has then installed SparkLayer on their Shopify store, this B2B data (e.g. B2B price lists) will then display to customers when they sign in, allowing them to place trade orders with their special B2B pricing.
All successful B2B orders are then sent from Shopify to DEAR Systems and managed via the existing workflows the merchant has set up.
